AFTER Theresa May unveiled the ‘upfront’ Conservative manifesto this morning, here are the key 10 policies that you need to know about.

Pledges to curb immigration and tackle the social care crisis are at the heart of the Conservative manifesto that aims to build a ‘fairer’ Britain.

Speaking at the manifesto launch in Halifax, Theresa May said her manifesto is “upfront and honest” about the five key challenges that the UK must overcome.

She said Britain must build a strong economy, get a good Brexit deal, tackle social division and respond to challenges of an ageing society and fast-changing technology.

In a plea to the nation, she said: “”So join me on this journey. Come with me as I lead Britain. Strengthen my hand as I fight for Britain and stand with me as I deliver for Britain.”
